I have been making these credit card holders for the school fete where my grandsons go

I have a lot more things to make but i have until July to get them done,. I start back at work tomorrow so I am trying to get back in the swing of things

Well back to the sewing room

Well today was a big day first off had 2nd Grandsons first football match he is in under 6's He played a great game

Came home and did more cleaning and washing after my trip to Darwin. Hopefully by tomorrow will be all caught up.

Got to the sewing room but got nothing done as I have to sort out all the great stuff I got from my shopping trip with Vickie

Shopping in Darwin

On the Saturday I met a friend that I met on a Quilt group her name is Vickie, Well Vickie came and picked me up and we went on a girls day shopping we went to 4 Op shops and I got lots of bargins and then off to spotlight and got more bargins My hubby was impressed with the amount I spent and said I could go shopping with Vickie any time as she made me save money

Well an update on what i have been up to

Have been to New Zealand and then when we (hubby and I)got back from NZ we packed the caravan and headed to Darwin

On the way we stopped at a place called Jondayon Wool sheds and had a look around there from there we traveled to Miles and had the night there and a few drinks to wet the whistle so to speak.

We then headed to Longreach to see the Stockmans hall of fame and then on to Winton (Qld) and had a look around the Dinosaurs we got to see the bones that they have found very interesting.
then just kept traveling went to a place called Manaraka and they have Thermal pool to swim in and it was great after a long days drive, we also camped there for the night. Finally got to Darwin set up camp and then went for a swim

Quits that i have been doing while i have not been working

Well hello Girls i am back, I have been busy sewing and getting some of my UFO's done while i have been home and out of work.

I have made 2 table runners and a Hanger for the kitchen made out of a tea towel that was given to me

I will post the photos for you all to look at this is my Embroidery Quilt that i am making for my daughter it has taken me 2 years to finish

Birthday today

Well today is my birthday and i have had a great day with family and friends
A dear friend of mine took me out to lunch in which we had Prawns in creamy garlic sauce on a bed of rice. Just mouth watering

We then went on to play the pokie machines i put i 5 dollars and lost it and she put in 8 dollars and won 142.00 dollars so that paid for our day out.
other then that i didnt do much at all jussst a lazy afternoon did a bit of sewing and now waiting for dinner to arrive
